Voices of Value Quote Book

One of the things that makes The Lazy Man's Way to Riches so powerful is the quotes on every page that have been specifically chosen to reinforce the text on that page. Through the years, we have had many requests for a Quote book based on the Lazy Man’s Way to Riches…so, finally...we will have one available later this year. But we don’t want just a boring old quote book, with rows and rows of words. I want a story as to why a particular quote has been inspirational.

So...Is there a quote that changed your life? If so, please submit the quote using the form below with your story and it may be featured on our website, and maybe even our book!

Name: Cynthia Howland-Hodson
Inspirational Quote: "You may delay, but time will not." -Thomas Edison
Cynthia's story: Short but sweet, this quote really put my habit of procrastination into perspective! My husband and I were in a near fatal accident last year and in a heartbeat, my perception of how valuable our time is shifted dramatically. I promised myself I would stop hesitating and start living. Time is a gift I cannot afford to waste.

Name: Ibrahim Sibai
Inspirational Quote: "Don't turn your arse to the bees and say God help me...please!"
Ibrahim's story: This is a typical Lebanese saying. It means you have to go to work to make a living, and to become successful. God only helps those who help themselves.

"If you are what you do...
What are you when you don't?"

Think about it…If all you are is what you do for your J-O-B, what kind of quality of life do you and your family have? Think Harry Chapin's song “Cats in the Cradle”.

This one quote has had, what I call the "Gnaw" factor – for the thousands of business people who have heard it in Richards seminar entitled “Getting Free of Your Business and Getting a Life!”

"Gnaw" factor meaning that the quote keeps gnawing on you because it hits a nerve. As Oprah Winfrey would say when you have an “Aha Moment”.

We have had many self proclaimed workaholic business owners contact us through the years after having attended Richard’s seminar, to thank us for, in a sense – knocking them up side the head with a reality check…because of the seminar, but this quote in particular. It is the one thing that kept “gnawing” at them until they did something about it.

They have now learned to find balance in their lives while still maintaining their business, making everyone happier…them, their family and even their employees.

I even used the line back on Richard when he started to lose balance with our lives.

So this quote has been life changing for many people, including me.
